Box Score 2 CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team began the University of Saint Francis (Ill.) Big Guns Tournament with a pair of convincing 3-0 victories on Friday evening in Chicago, Illinois.
The Wildcats were never threatened in a 25-15, 25-16, 25-16 rout of St. Xavier (Ill.) University in the opening contest.
Leading Indiana Wesleyan was senior Rebekah Reichard with a double-double. She earned team-highs with 12 kills and 13 digs. Senior Krystin Coleman passed out 15 assists and senior Jill MacMillan provided six service aces.
Indiana Wesleyan completed the night with a second straight three set victory. The Wildcats upended Trinity Christian (Ill.) College by scores of 25-14, 25-21 and 25-21.
Reichard once again led the IWU attack with 15 kills and a .438 hitting percentage. Coleman had 21 assists and sophomore Kelley Morris served two aces. Freshman Kelsey Masuda collected 11 digs in the winning effort.
Indiana Wesleyan is now 19-10 on the season.
The Wildcats will complete the Big Guns Tournament on Saturday with a pair of matches.
