Huntington, IN (January 16, 2008) ? The NAIA No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan University women?s basketball team fell behind early to Mid-Central College Conference opponent Huntington University Wednesday night and never recovered as they lost 63-55.

The Wildcats (18-2, 4-2) managed only nine points in the first half as they fell behind 28-9.

Senior Lisa Thompson?s double-double was not enough for IWU to get the win.  Thompson finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds.  The only other Wildcat in double figures was freshman Kayla Thompson with 12.

IWU plays next Saturday, January 19, at home against NAIA No. 3 University of St. Francis tipping off at 1 p.m.
