Box Score The IWU Women's squad used high pressure from the start of their semifinal match as Mt. Vernon Nazarene could not get into their style of play. Again, the Wildcats missed a couple of early chances but they broke through later in the first half on a corner kick. Sydney Bobo launched the ball on the set piece to Gretchen Breckner, who in turn headed it back across the goal to Errika Comerouski. Errika drove the ball into the back of the net for the first goal. In less than 2 minutes, Claire Comerouski added a goal as she dribbled by several defenders and gave the team a 2-0 half timelead. A fired up Cougar squad came out after the break and changed their style of play as they ferociously attacked the Wilcat end of the field. Indiana Wesleyan's did not bend as the entire team dug in and refused to break. With about 15 minutes to go, Carly Comerouski received a pass from senior Ashley Kitchens and sealed IWU's berth in the finals. The Wildcats will take on Spring Arbor University in the championship game on Monday.
