Box Score The scoring started early as the visiting IWU squad got on the scoreboard just a minute and a half into the match when Carly Comerouski beat the keeper after rceiving a pass from her sister, Claire. A subsequent flurry of shots were saved by the Goshen keeper while some were sprayed wide and high. Megan Marshall eventually resumed the scoring with an assist from Errika Comerouski and soon thereafter, Carly scored again with the assist going to Amy Hockersmith. Just minutes later Sydney Bobo served a free kick into the box allowing Claire Comerouski to score. The first half scoring ended a few moments later when former Marion high school player, April Singer assisted Becca Mathews. At the half, Indiana Wesleyan had not allowed a shot by the Maple Leafs while shooting 14 times with 11 of those on goal.
In the second half, the Wildcats tweaked their alignment, which coupled with Goshen coming out strong, slowed down the evening's scoring for Indiana Wesleyan. Carly Comerouski earned a hat trick with her third goal in the middle section of the half. All four IWU keepers received time as did all healthy field players. The Wildcats are now 13 and 1 as they approach a match with Grace College on Saturday, October 13th. Indiana Wesleyan is now 6-0 in the MCC and tied with Spring Arbor at the top of the conference.
