Assistant Track and Field Coach for Men’s & Women's Sprints

Patrick Kolb graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in the spring of 1996. Kolb competed for the Wildcats during his time helping to capture the schools first NCCAA National Championship. Kolb also ran the third leg of the 4x100 that placed eighth at the 1994 NAIA National Championships.


With over 20 years of service as a police officer, Kolb currently serves as the Chief of Police for Marion General Hospital in Marion, Indiana. Prior to MGH, Kolb served as a Grant County Deputy Sheriff for 19 years.


He is a tremendous role model and is someone who does everything well and has a servant's heart," said Head Cross Country Coach John Foss. "When not at the track he is busy with his duties protecting our community or spending time with his family."


In past years Kolb served as the Long and Triple Jump coach helping Thomas Collet and Darrian Mikell capture NAIA National Championships in 2010 & 2013. Kolb has helped many Wildcats win All-League, All-NCCAA, and All-American awards. 


Patrick is the father of Troy and Tabby.
