NORMAN, OKLA. - Indiana Wesleyan men's golfer
Sam Dykema was named a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus NAIA Golfer of the Year Award, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America last week. This is the second year that Dykema has been named a finalist for the award. In addition, Dykema was also named to the GCAA NAIA PING All-American First TeamÂ
Ranked third in the NAIA  the junior from West Chicago, Ill., won the NAIA National Preview by five strokes on September 23 and the SCAD Cup by three strokes on March 17. The back-to-back Crossroads League Player of the Year is also a two-time PING All-Midwest Region and 2025 PING First Team All-America honoree.
The GCAA also announced the All-District Team with
Karson Cabe joining Dykema on the Midwest team.
