DANVILLE, KY. - Indiana Wesleyan Head Coach Stephen Wolcott was named the Mid-South Conference Men's Swim and Dive Head Coach of the Year at the conclusion of the conference meet on Saturday. This marks the first time that an Indiana Wesleyan coach has received the award for the men, with Kinsey McVay winning the award as the women's coach in 2024. Wolcott who is in his second season as head coach for both the men and women's programs was named the Mid-South Conference Men's Swim and Dive Assistant Coach of the Year in 2024 before taking over as head coach. This season he guided the men's program to their best finish ever at the conference meet with a third place finish.

In addition, Assistant Coach Livi Bell was named the MSC Men's Swim and Dive Assistant Coach of the Year. Bell was a 2023 IWU graduate who rejoined the Wildcats on the pool deck this season and made an immediate impact. "I am incredibly excited for Coach Livi winning Assistant Coach of the year for the Mid-South Conference!" Said Wolcott. "She has been invaluable to the IWU Swim and Dive team. She selflessly gives while working full time as an elementary teacher. Coach Livi has provided a great example of walking with Christ in all she does showing the Both/And of the program!"
