Track & Field Earns Eight NAIA Standards at Midwest Classic

MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan track and field got to stay home on Saturday as they hosted the Midwest Classic in Troyer Fieldhouse. The men totaled six NAIA standard marks, highlighted by an NAIA A standard from Trenton Sweet in the mile, and a new school record set by Braden Sweet in the 1,000 meters. The women saw success in the 1,000 meter race as Sydney Liddle recorded an NAIA A standard time of 2:56.04, while Abby Wallace finished right after her for an NAIA B standard time of 3:01.30.
