Men's Bowling

Men's Bowling Finishes Third In Final Regular Season Competition; Doke Bowls Program Record

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Indiana Wesleyan Men's Bowling finalized their regular season by competing in the Crossroads League #3 tournament on Wednesday. The tournament had been previously scheduled for January 24th, but was postponed due to weather. IWU placed 3rd among the 8 teams by knocking down 5,542 pins. The day was highlighted by freshman Cody Doke finishing first overall among both Varsity and JV bowlers. To add to the highlight, Doke bowled a 730 across 3 games which is a new IWU program record! Fellow freshman Camden Malott earned All-Tournament Team honors as well with a 5th place finish.

  • "The men's varsity team battled all day, throwing each shot with confidence and trust," said head coach Chris Karlin. "Their communication and support for one another reached a new level, highlighting growth that truly stood out. Our men's JV squad also put together a fantastic showing, competing frame by frame and never letting adversity take control of their day."
