MARION, Ind. - No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer celebrated their graduating class before taking on the Maple Leafs of Goshen College on Saturday night. Callum Donnell, Jose Garcia, Sam Goodin, Yarek Carnegie, Seth Kallem, Tyce Glover, Don-Alain Habimana, Nils Reifenberger, and Javier Enciso were all celebrated before the Wildcats defeated Goshen 8-0.
Mariano Chaves found the net for the first goal of the match in the 13th minute assisted by Jose Garcia and Erick Vanzela on a quick touch pass. Freshman Dennis Otieno put in the next one in the 30th minute after Jose Garcia's second assist. 8 minutes later, Yarek Carnegie scored his 10th goal of the season on an assist from Mariano Chaves. After halftime, Chaves scored his second goal of the game on a corner kick by Guzman Trigo. Senior Seth Kallem joined the festivities after Valentino Solari crossed one close to the goal in the 53rd minute. Camilo Pereda collected his 8th assist of the season on a corner kick that Erick Vanzela headed in. 3 minutes later, Jose Garcia put in one on a free kick outside the 18. Cade Tyson capped off the match with his first career goal in the 88th minute.
