MARION, Ind. - No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan women's cross country began the 2025 season by hosting the Twilight Invitational on Friday evening. The Wildcats finished second overall in the 18-team event. Newcomer
Sydney Liddle led the way for Indiana Wesleyan, finishing 7th with a time of 22:41.7.
Elizabeth Barrett also finished in the Top 15, and seven Wildcats placed in the Top 50. As a team, IWU took down No. 6-ranked Marian and No. 7-ranked Grace.

- "The women had a great day, running as a pack and moving up boldly at the second half of the race," said Brody Beiler, Head Cross Country Coach. "Our 1-2 punch with Sydney & Elizabeth was fantastic to see them working together. And then our 3-5, Katie, Hayes, and Ashlyn worked & packed so well together. Overall, such a joy to see them working together and running free."
LOOKING FORWARD
- The Wildcats will travel to Missouri University in Columbia, Mo. for the Gans Creek Classic on Friday, September 26.
