SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer traveled up to Spring Arbor for another top 25 matchup on the season, this match serving as the Crossroads League opener. The first half commenced with both teams vying for early control. In the 16th minute, SAU scored the first goal of the match, putting the home team ahead 1-0. IWU responded with several attempts, including a shot by Erick Vanzela saved by SAU's goalkeeper but they were unable to penetrate the defense. The first period concluded with the Cougars maintaining their 1-0 lead, despite the Wildcat's persistent offensive efforts. In the second half, IWU's offensive pressure intensified with 5 shots in the first 10 minutes.
