AUSTIN, Texas - Indiana Wesleyan saw 12 Wildcats named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators. The sports classified as At-Large, according to the CSC, are Beach Volleyball, Bowling, Competitive Cheer, Competitive Dance, Crew/Rowing, Fencing, Field Hockey, Golf, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Rifle, Skiing, Men's Volleyball, Water Polo, and Wrestling.
The CSC recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Eligible student-athletes need to be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average, and must compete in 75% of the institution's games/contests/sets played.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 1. Academic All-America team is based upon athletic and academic achievement. CSC membership covers sports information directors and content creators across all levels of collegiate athletics.
