Sam Dykema was named a finalist for the Jack Nicklaus NAIA Golfer of the Year Award, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America lst week.
Dykema has earned three victories and placed in the top-five five times, including three as runner-up, this season for the Wildcats. The sophomore from West Chicago, Ill., is nationally ranked sixth via Scoreboard powered by Clippd with a 72.92 scoring average and a low round of 65 at the Southeastern University Invitational during his five-shot victory. Dykema is a two-time PING All-Midwest Region honoree.
