COLUMBUS, IND. - Indiana Wesleyan women's golf claimed a second place finish in the Crossroads League Championship on Tuesday, falling by just one stroke. The Wildcats led through the first two rounds on Monday, but a +17 from Taylor catapulted them from third the first on the final day. Caroline Gibson was the individual league champ in her senior season, firing off a 229 to win by one stroke.
 

ROUND ONE

• IWU led by 4 strokes after one round, shooting a 314
• Sage Parsetich and Kylee Purdy led Indiana Wesleyan in the first round, both shooting 78s

ROUND TWO

• A 315 in round two extended their lead to 7 heading into the final round.
• Purdy improved on her strong first round with a 75 to lead the Wildcats to first place.
• Carolin Gibson fired off a 77 to end the first day with a solid round.

ROUND THREE

• IWU shot a solid 317 in the final round but fell by just one stroke to League Champion Taylor.
• Gibson went even in the final round, moving into first place with a 72.
• Purdy finished off a consistent tournament with a 77.
