GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan University men's cross country team captured the team championship at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, topping a deep national field Saturday morning in the Maroon Division. The Wildcats scored 79 points, placing all five scorers inside the top 30. Their team time of 2:03.31 set a new a program record by more than 30 seconds!
Leading Indiana Wesleyan was
Trenton Sweet, who placed fourth overall in 24:24 on the 8K course. Senior
Josh Bainbridge was close behind in sixth (24:31.2), while
Braden Sweet crossed in 15th (24:39.0).
