WINONA LAKE, Ind. - No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer matched up against No. 21 Grace College at 1st Source Bank Field on Wednesday night. The first half began with IWU finding early momentum against the Lancers. Despite a series of offsides and fouls, the Wildcats maintained defensive resilience, highlighted by Kadin Wolfe's save in the 10th minute. The half's turning point came just before halftime when Eliass Elfasoukhi, assisted by Richard Llanes, scored to give IWU a 1-0 lead that they would carry into the break. In the second half, Indiana Wesleyan maintained its defensive stance against GC's persistent attacks. Wolfe was active in goal, notably saving a shot in the 85th minute. Despite several attempts from the Wildcats, including a saved shot by Taha Houssni in the 89th minute, the half concluded with no changes to the score. IWU ended the match with a 1-0 lead, holding off GC's efforts to equalize and handing the Lancers their first conference loss. The Wildcats have now won 4 of their last 5 with two straight clean sheet victories.
