WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. - Indiana Wesleyan women's golf opened their season this week by taking third at the Wildcat Invitational. The Wildcats shot 962 (+98) over two days at Kampen Course on the campus of Purdue University.

ROUND ONE

• IWU was in a tie for third with Cumberland (TN) through round one, shooting a 321 (+33).
• Caroline Gibson held second place with a 74 (+2), trailing by four strokes to the field leader.
• Sage Parsetich was just outside the top ten in eleventh, firing off a 79.

ROUND TWO

• IWU had the best second round of the entire field with a 315 (+27).
• Caroline Gibson and Sage Parsetich led the field with a 75 (+3).
• Kylee Purdy followed with an 81, improving from her 84 in round one.

ROUND THREE

• The Wildcats finished the Wildcat Invitational with a 326, finishing third.
• Kylee Purdy and Sage Parsetich led Indiana Wesleyan with a 79 and 80.
