MARION, Ind. - No. 17 Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer stays red hot against Franklin College, winning 11-0. The Wildcats spread the scoring among a variety of players with only Yarek Carnegie scoring more than once. The red and gray defense played amazing, not allowing Franklin to register a shot. IWU hopes to continue their great play next week as they match up against two ranked opponents.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Tim Slusarczyk started the attack in the 4th minute of the game getting an unassisted goal.
• In the same minute, Taha Houssni scored off an assist from Cole Little.
• Shortly after, Jose Garcia got on the board as Cole Little collected another assist.
• Taha Houssni added an assist to his stat line as Brandon Nyagurungo scored in the 16th minute.
• Yarek Carnegie scored his first of two unassisted goals in the 27th minute.
• Jaxon Carpenter got an assist to Giuseppe Santacroce in the 37th minute and then scored his own goal getting an assist from Richard Llanes later in the 40th minute.
• The second half started well as the 46th minute started with a team goal for IWU.
• In the 55th minute, Yarek Carnegie found the back of the net for his second goal of the night.
• Isaiah Arredondo and Roberto Sanchez rounded the scoring for the Wildcats scoring in the 64th and 84th minutes respecitvely. 

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 11: IWU scored the most goals in a game for the program since before 2007.
• 14: The Wildcats took fourteen corner kicks compared to Franklin's zero.
• 0: The defenseman of the Wildcats shut down any attack from Franklin not allowing the Grizzlies to register a shot.
