Men's Cross Country

CROSS COUNTRY RELEASES 2023 SCHEDULE

MARION, Ind. – The Indiana Wesleyan men's and women's cross country programs have released the upcoming 2023 schedules which includes five regular season meets with one home meet before traveling down to Upland, Ind for the Crossroads League Championships in early November. The Wildcats will conclude their seasons at the NAIA National Championships in Vancouver, Wash. on No. 17th.

IWU kicks off the 2023 season at home in Marion for the Twilight Invitational on Friday, September 8th with the first race beginning at 6:00 p.m. Last season, the men won the race for the second-consecutive year. The women finished strong in 4th place.

The following weekend, the Wildcats make the short trip to Upland, Ind. for the Ray Bullock Invitational on Friday, September 15th, hosted by Taylor University.

In the third meet of the year, the teams travel to Falcon Heights, Minn. for the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday, September 22nd. Both the men and women finished in the Top 10 against a field of 30 schools.

After a weekend off, IWU heads up to South Bend, Ind on Friday, Oct. 6th for the Bethel Invitational with the women beginning at 2:30 p.m. and the men at 3:15 p.m. The Wildcat men won their second race of the season, while the women took second place.

Indiana Wesleyan wraps up the regular season in Grand Rapids, Mich. for the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge. The men won their race against a loaded field of Top-25 talent. The women took 6th place for their fourth finish in the Top-10.

Two weekends later, the Wildcats travel to Upland, Ind. for the Crossroads League Championships on Friday, Nov. 3rd. In last year's championship races, the men took home the title and the women finished runner-up.

The final race of the year is the NAIA National Championships on Friday, November 17th in Vancouver, Wash. Last season, the men earned 4th place and the women finished 12th.
