MARION, Ind. - After a rocky first 60 minutes, No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer started to make a close comeback before falling just short to Marian, 3-2, in the Crossroads League Tournament. After trailing 1-0 at the half, IWU went down a man and another two goals to tally the score to 3-0. After two goals within six minutes of each other, the Wildcats' comeback attempt fell just short.

- The first half ended with IWU trailing 1-0.
- After Marian found their third goal in the 61st minute, Guzman Trigo found his third goal of the season in the 71st minute after a ricocheted shot off a Marian defender to trail 3-1 down a man.
- A beautiful pass from Diego Palma found Parker Stewart on the run to beat the keeper in the 77th minute with 13:48 on the clock.
- 3: With a comeback formulating, the Wildcats found three of their five corners in the second half.
- 2: Both goals on the day were found off of good passing, with both goals assisted.
- IWU will hope to continue their season by qualifying for the NAIA National Championships.
