GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Indiana Wesleyan women's cross country raced to a fourth place finish on Saturday in rainy and muddy conditions at the Great Lakes Invitational. The Wildcats had two different groups compete in two separate races with their top group competing in the Maroon race and their second group competing in the White race. Sophomore Addi Dewey led the way for Indiana Wesleyan in the Maroon race, finishing 7th individually with a time of  18:45.40. Elizabeth Barrett was close behind at 18:54.70 for 11th place. Raegan Tippey led the Wildcats in the White race and finished ninth individually with a time of 19:54.20.

FOSS PERSPECTIVE

• "The women struggled to get going today in the Maroon race in the tough conditions," said Josh Foss, Head Cross Country Coach. "Our pack was together, but back a little bit too far. Our second group did well and tied for first in the White race. We are ready to regroup and compete in two weeks for a league championship."

LOOKING FORWARD

• The Wildcats will race for a conference championship on Nov. 3 in Upland, Ind.
