SOUTH BEND, IND. - A wonderful showing from No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan Women's Golf saw the Wildcats finish first at The Saints Classic at Warren Golf Course. Freshman Kylee Purdy finished first overall with a total score of 149 to lead IWU to their first team win this season. Junior Sydney Leyerle followed up to finish sixth overall with a total score of 154 through two rounds. IWU will travel to play in the TPC Deere Run Invitational in Silvis, Illinois, starting Monday at 8:30 a.m.

ROUND ONE

• The Wildcats finished off the first round with a team total of 311 (+27).
• Kylee Purdy led IWU on the day, shooting a 74 (+3). 
• Freshman Sage Parsetich finished second for the team in the first round with a 77 on her scorecard (+6). 

ROUND TWO

• Indiana Wesleyan finished round two with a team score of 304 (+20), finishing first overall with a total score of 615 (+47). 
• Junior Caroline Gibson found herself in front of the Wildcat squad in round two, shooting a 74 on the day (+3).
• Kylee Purdy finished her second round right behind Gibson with a score of 75 (+4) to complete her spot for second place in the tournament.
