TALLAHASSEE - No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan men's cross country moved up one spot Friday, claiming a fourth place at the 2022 NAIA XC National Championships. The Wildcats were led by NAIA All-Americans Eli Fullerton and Landon Wakeman, who finished 14th and 20th respectively.

In addition, sophomore Eli Fullerton set a new program record for the fastest time for a sophomore, while the team beat the schools program record by two seconds. 

FOSS PERSPECTIVE

• It's always an honor to be invited to stand on the podium. Our student-athletes gave all they had, but frankly, we were not as prepared as we should have been. That's on me, I missed details, but against a talented field these men ran for God, IWU, and each other. I am very proud of them.
• Notably, Coach McBeath took the ladies through a rebuilding phase and made them national competitors. The chemistry between the athletes and their first-year coach has been a joy to watch.
