HUNTINGTON, ind. – Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer made the short trip up to Huntington University on Wednesday evening for another Crossroads League match against the Foresters. The heavyweight battle saw both teams throw back and forth blows, but the Wildcats were unable to land the final knockout punch and fell to the Foresters, 4-5.

WHAT HAPPENED

• The Wildcats got on the board first with a goal from Giuseppe Santacroce in the 3rd minute, but the Foresters responded quickly to tie it back up.
• IWU regained the lead with score from Brandon Nyagurungo going into halftime, 2-1.
• Huntington scored two goals early in the second half to take their first lead, 3-2.
• Santacroce netted his second goal of the match off a penalty kick, but the Foresters took back the lead, 4-3, not long after.
• The perfect set-piece execution resulted in a late equalizer for IWU in the 88th minute, but HU would connect on the eventual game winner less than 30 seconds later.
