MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer dropped a 4-1 decision to Grace College this evening. Both teams have been very competitive with the Lancers over the past several years with IWU leading the matchup 12-8-4.
 
MATCH INSIGHTS

• Lancers found the back of the net quick into the game at the 4-minute mark.
• Wildcats responded with a goal by Philipp Basara assisted by Giuseppe Santacroce as Basara finished in upper left corner of the goal just four minutes later.
• Lancers responded with back-to-back goals at 21-minute mark and 23-minute mark.
• The second half consisted of one more goal by the Lancers.
• IWU outshot Grace 12 (4)-10 (7). IWU posted 10 corner kicks to Grace's one.

• "I think the score line is a poor indicator of the game. But we made numerous mistakes in the back that costed us and they made us pay tonight. Trying now to refocus, honor our seniors, and set ourselves up for success in the tournament."
