WILDCATS AND FORESTERS DRAW IN DOUBLE OVERTIME

MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer tied with Huntington Foresters this evening on a cold and rainy night on IWU's campus. Wildcats have not beaten the Foresters since October 17, 2015. Wildcats move to 8-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play.

MATCH INSIGHTS
  • Huntington found the back of the net early into the game at the 8-minute mark.
  • IWU trailed at halftime 1-0.
  • Partway through the second half, Philipp Basara placed the ball in the lower left corner of the net to give IWU their only goal of the night. Giuseppe Santacroce's header assisted on the play.
  • Both teams remained scoreless the rest of the game and ended in a 1-1 draw after double overtime.
