@IWUSWIMMING DOMINATE IN DAY ONE OF ASBURY INVITE

WILMORE, Ky. - No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan swimming was back in the pool Friday for the first time in 2021, participating in the 2021 Asbury Invite, a dual meet against host school Asbury University and Campbellsville University.

IWU currently leads both teams claiming nine first-place finishes and five second-place finishes on Friday. There were no new NAIA A standards achieved on Friday.

VERMILYA PERSPECTIVE

It was exciting and encouraging to see our team show up tonight to race! We were aggressive and focused on the joy of getting to compete! While it's never easy to get back into competition right after winter break, we showed some great grit tonight and look forward to more solid racing tomorrow!
