@IWUSOCCER COLLECTS DRAW AT SPRING ARBOR

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Indiana Wesleyan men's soccer collected a 1-1 tie on the road Thursday at Spring Arbor University, the first positive results against the Cougars in four years. Heading into the match, IWU was riding a four-match losing streak to SAU, but in the 56th minute, Zack Hargraves would change IWU's fate. Hargraves' goal would come as a penalty kick after an SAU tackle inside the eighteen.

INSIDE THE BOX

  • Hargraves has scored in back-to-back matches for the Wildcats bringing his goal total in 2020 to two.
  • Having lost their last four, IWU's last positive result was in 2016 when the Wildcat's and Cougars tied, 2-2. IWU hasn't beaten SAU since 2015.
  • Both teams fired off 16 shots, with the Cougars landing eight and the Wildcats landing six.
  • Indiana Wesleyan tallied 26 fouls in the match while Spring Arbor University collected 23. The red and gray accounted for five yellows in the match.
