Bourbonnais, Illi. –  Indiana Wesleyan men’s soccer scored a late goal Saturday night, forcing overtime with Olivet Nazarene. Philipp Basara scored the lone goal for IWU, with the help of CJ Strawser. Both teams failed to score a goal in overtime, ending the match in a 1-1 draw.

BY THE NUMBERS

• The Wildcats fired off 27 shots, landing ten on goal. Olivet placed 12 of their 15 shots on goal. Thirteen total corners were attempted in the match, with IWU taking seven.
• Aaron Carr tallied 11 saves in the contest, while Branten Wolff collected nine.

• ​That was a good game. We really took the momentum back after going down and thought we really controlled the game after the opening. Proud of our effort and looking forward to what this season holds for these guys.
