RIO GRANDE, OHIO. –Indiana Wesleyan men’s soccer moved to 2-2-3 on the season falling to #2 Rio Grande, 4-2. The Red Storm scored three goals in the first half with their first coming five minutes in off a penalty kick.

Philipp Basara put the Wildcats on the board in the 64th minute, while Filipe Mendonca added a goal on the 88th minute for his eighth of the season.

BY THE NUMBERS

• Both teams landed ten shots on goal and two corner kicks.
• Rio Grande edged Indiana Wesleyan 14 to 13 in the shots category.
• The Red Storm committed 19 fouls collecting two yellow cards, while the Wildcats committed 11 fouls, collecting one yellow card.
• Mendonca led IWU with five shots while Glauber Oliveira added four.
