GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Indiana Wesleyan swimming capped off the Calvin College Invite Saturday with 11 qualifying times brining their invite total to 23! As a team, The Wildcats took seventh place, tallying 572 points against NCAA Division II & Division III opponents.
Sydney Darnell and Madison Wickholm each collected school records to cap off the weekend! Darnell in the 100 fly with a time of 55.72 and Wickholm in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.13.
Darnell iced the cake for the Wildcats finishing first overall in the 100-yard fly with a time of 55.72.

DALRYMPLE PERSPECTIVE
- This was an absolutely amazing mid-season meet for our team! We walked away with 23 new national qualifying swims, eight new members of our national team and two new school records. The Calvin Invitational is an amazing meet where our team competed with very high-level NCAA teams, and the girls rose to the challenge and used this opportunity to get better and position ourselves for the second half of the season.
NEXT TIME OUT
- The Wildcats travel to the Centre Colonel Classic on January 10-11th, 2020.
- The meet will be held inside Boles Natatorium in Danville, Kentucky on the campus of Centre College.
