MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan men’s soccer season ended Saturday, at the hands of Mount Vernon Nazarene. Gerrit Brinkmann was the lone goal scorer for the Cougars netting both goals, first in the 60th minute and just five minutes later in the 65th minute.

• IWU edged MVNU 11-to-9 in the shots category with both squads landing three on goal.
• Indiana Wesleyan attempted just one corner kick in the match, while Mt. Vernon took four.
• 29 total fouls were called in the game, with MVNU leading the way with 19. Each squad collected a yellow card.
