COACH SANFORD SAYS…

  • “We feel really good about this win. Not just because Bellevue is a perennial tournament team and receiving votes right now, but because we put together a full performance. I thought our back line and goalkeeping was really good, sharp and organized. We possessed the ball well and were able to open them up.

  • “Singer was in the right place at the right times and showed some real composure. He was the benefactor of some really good play and finished like the experienced player he is.”

  • “This trip has been fantastic. We are so grateful for the people who have hosted us and really been generous and hospitable to make this happen. This is a shared experience that has helped us grow our relationships. It's risky to come into an unknown environment and play top teams, but this is going to be an experience that these guys will remember for their whole lives which makes it all worth it.”

PLAYER’S PERSPECTIVE…

  • “As a team, we had a strong performance from start to finish. I credit my teammates for making plays and giving me the opportunities and looks I had tonight. This was a great way to finish the week.” – Jacob Singer
