ANGOLA, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University golf maintained their third place standing at the Crossroads League Championship on Tuesday as the third and final round was contested in Angola, Indiana. The Wildcats end the tournament with team scores under 300 for each round while 14 of the 15 individual round scores were under 80.

What Went Down

• Indiana Wesleyan maintained their third place standing in the third and final round of the Crossroads League Championship. IWU entered the final round in third place and had the third best score on Tuesday with a 295.
• Taylor (Ind.) won the league championship with a score of 872 (294-287-291) to edge Marian (Ind.) by three strokes as they turned in an 875 (296-291-288). Indiana Wesleyan was 17 strokes behind the lead at 889 (295-299-295).
• Patrick Hardy (FR/Ellicott City, Md.) (77-72-71) and Blake Russell (SR/Monticello, Ind.) (75-72-73) were the low cards for the Wildcats as they both shot 220. They tied for sixth place in the 45-player field.
• Last year’s champion Jake Coffey (JR/Columbus, Ind.) placed 15th with a score of 226 (75-78-73).
• Nick Schad (FR/Columbus, Ohio) turned in a 227 (70-77-80) as he finished 20th in the field.
• Ethan Luecke (SO/Warrenton, Mo.) ended the tournament in a six-way tie for 28th position. Luecke earned a final score of 231 (75-78-78).

• Patrick Hardy and Blake Russell were each honored as All-Crossroads League members following the tournament. Hardy and Russell tied for sixth place and the top-10 performers at the league meet earn All-League accolades.
