Men?s Golf Completes First Spring Invitational in Missouri

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men’s golf team hits the links for the first time this spring season at the Challenge at Dalhousie in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Indiana Wesleyan shot a two-round total of 664 to place 11th of 12 teams.

  • Blake Russell (SR/Monticello, Ind.) was the low card for the Wildcats with a score of 163 (80-83). His score was good for 36th position in the 74 golfer field.
  • Jake Coffey (JR/Columbus, Ind.) tied for 44th place as he turned in a 167 (81-86).
  • Ethan Luecke (SO/Warrenton, Mo.) shot a two-round total of 169 (89-80). Luecke tied for 47th place.
  • Drew Cahill (SO/Terre Haute, Ind.) was 50th in the field as he shot a final score of 170 (83-87).
  • Nick Schad (FR/Columbus, Ohio) was the fifth and final Wildcat on the scoreboard. Schad completed play with a 172 (84-88) for a 56th place tie.

     

Next Tee Time

  • Indiana Wesleyan next competes on April 1-2 at the Saint Francis Invitational. The two day tournament will be held at Autumn Ridge and Cherry Hill Golf Courses in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
