MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men’s cross country team placed fourth of nine teams at the Crossroads League Championship Saturday in Marion. The fourth place finish brings an end to a stretch of four consecutive Crossroads League championships for the Wildcats.

• “We ran a little flat. We wanted to place a lot higher and we just didn’t have it today. Times look good and maybe that is a credit to the league. We entered as the fifth seeded team and moved up to fourth. We had hoped to do better but we have a lot of freshmen. Everybody gave it everything they had.”
