COACH SANFORD SAYS…
- “Obviously we are disappointed in our season ending that way. Never really got going today which is probably mostly due to Grace’s pressure. When we could connect and move the ball well we gained opportunities but we just couldn’t do that regularly enough.”
- “Grateful to the senior class for their contribution and commitment to IWU soccer and wish them nothing but the very best moving forward. God has huge plans for each of them and we look forward to seeing what is in store. We have to improve as a group. I’m excited about our core of returners and the people we already know will be added to next year’s group. We won’t have an offseason, only time to improve.”
UP NEXT FOR MEN’S SOCCER
- Indiana Wesleyan sees their 2016 season come to a close following the loss. IWU ends the year with an 11-8-2 record.
