MARION, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men’s soccer team limited visiting Grace (Ind.) to just four shots in a 1-0 victory Wednesday night. Evan Young scored in the 31st minute for the only goal of the night as the Wildcats made their ESPN3 debut at Wildcat Field.

• The Indiana Wesleyan goal was served into the center of the 18-yard box by Josiah O’Deens where Evan Young was and his header redirected the ball to the back of the net.

• “This was a really big win for us. But honestly the past couple days has been all about the guys. The team ran practice on Monday and they took ownership of this. I think we have the quality to be a really good team and we have shown that in spurts. We are starting to build continuity and I think this is a team that can catch some form and would love to see the potential that this team could have.”
   
• “Evan Young stepped up and scored a really big goal. Ciro Castro had a great performance tonight. CJ Strawser, in his first game for us, played really well. Some really good minutes from some young guys which is very encouraging to see.”
