MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Indiana Wesleyan University men’s golf completed the WolfPack Invitational today in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a fifth place finish in the 10 team tournament.
The Wildcats carded a 313 today in the final round of the invitational. IWU shot rounds of 306 and 305 on Monday to earn a total of 924 during the three rounds. Host Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) won their home invite with an 883 (296-294-303).
Holy Cross (Ind.) was runner-up at 918 (309-311-298) while Marian (307-311-304) and Saint Francis (Ill.) (297-312-313) tied for third place with identical scores of 922.
Jake Coffey (SO/Columbus, Ind.) tied for eighth place overall with a 227 (74-72-81) while Blake Russell (JR/Monticello, Ind.) shot a 231 (79-78-74) and was tied for 14th place. Ethan Luecke (FR/Warrenton, Mo.) turned in a 235 (77-77-81) for 23rd position and Dalton Miller (SR/Jonesboro, Ind.) ended play with a 236 (80-79-77). BJ White (SO/Sweetser, Ind.) completed the invite with a 238 (76-78-84) for 32nd place.
Indiana Wesleyan competes again next week at the NAIA Classic on October 13-14. The invitational will be held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
