PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. -- Indiana Wesleyan University earned a 16th place finish at the NCCAA National Championship on Tuesday at The Hombre Golf Course in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Indiana Wesleyan entered second round play in 11th place with a first round total of 307. IWU followed with a 319 in round two for a two-day total of 626 and miss the cut for the final round on Wednesday. The top-12 teams will play the third and final round on Wednesday.
One Wildcat will continue to play on Wednesday and that is Zach Kinch. The junior made the individual cut with a 148 (71-77) as he is tied for 16th place. The top 63 golfers made the cut to play the third and final round.
Tyler Keith shot a 157 (77-80) to finish as the second lowest score for Indiana Wesleyan while Blake Russell was one stroke behind Keith at 158 (77-81). Dalton Miller carded a 163 (82-81) and Brooks Curry shot a 172 (83-89).
Kinch will compete in one last round on Wednesday which was conclude the 2012 fall season for Indiana Wesleyan.
