Box Score HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Box Score) -- Indiana Wesleyan University men's soccer won their second consecutive match to start Mid-Central College Conference play on Saturday with a 1-0 victory at Huntington (Ind.) University.
Wildcat freshman striker Chase Miller found junior midfielder Mitch Lobdell in the 12th minute of play for the only score of the contest. The goal for Lobdell is his first of the season.
IWU senior goalkeeper Spenser Lang earned the shutout in net. It is his third of the season and second consecutive.
Indiana Wesleyan improves to 3-6-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the MCC. Huntington drops to 8-3-0 and 0-2-0 in conference action.
The Wildcats return to the pitch at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30 as Indiana Wesleyan plays at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
