MARION, Ind. (Box Score) -- Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University scored a golden goal in the first minute of the second overtime to defeated Indiana Wesleyan University men's soccer 1-0 on Saturday evening at Wildcat Field.

ONU senior midfielder Jose Villa received a pass from outside of the box as he streaked down the right flank. Indiana Wesleyan senior goalkeeper Spenser Lang came out to challenge Villa who shot to the far post and scored the game winning goal.

Both defenses were entrenched the entire night as the two teams combined for just seven shots on goal during regulation. Indiana Wesleyan had four shots on goal to Olivet Nazarene's three.

The first overtime did not produce any scoring chances as the Wildcats earned the only shot on goal. Olivet Nazarene (5-2-0) earned the only shot on goal in the second overtime session.

Lang ended the night with three saves for the Wildcats.

Indiana Wesleyan (1-6-0) will open the Mid-Central College Conference slate in their next match. The Wildcats will host Marian (Ind.) University at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22 at Wildcat Field.
