Box Score SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- Indiana Wesleyan University men's soccer remains near the top of the Mid-Central College Conference standings with a 2-1 road win on Saturday afternoon at Spring Arbor (Mich.) University.
The Wildcats up their MCC record to 3-1-0 with the road victory and are one of four teams with one or less losses in conference action. Overall, IWU is 4-8-1.
All the scoring came during the first half of action. Freshman striker Seth Douwsma and junior midfielder Austin Bock connected with goal to lift the Wildcats to the victory.
Spring Arbor is now 6-7-0 overall and 1-4-0 in the MCC.
Indiana Wesleyan remains on the road for the next match which is at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14 as the Wildcats play at Bethel (Ind.) College in Mishawaka, Indiana. Bethel is the last unbeaten conference team and is ranked No. 12 in the NAIA.
