KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University defeated the Indiana Wesleyan University men?s soccer team 2-1 in the third place match at the NCCAA national championships in Kissimmee, Florida.

The No. 1-seeded Wildcats defeated Oakland City (Ind.) University 6-0 in the opening round of the tournament on Friday to advance to the national semifinals. But the No. 4-seeded The Master?s (Calif.) College upended IWU 2-1 Saturday evening to knock the Wildcats into the consolation round.

Indiana Wesleyan finished fourth in the NCCAA and ends their season with a record of 19-6-1.
